Back to Tel Aviv after 3 years (!), this time for Casual Connect 2016! It was great being a part of this event with so many interesting and talented people from the gaming industry. This fall started very nice: our lead artist was one of the #SWITCH! speakers, KIDOZ listed us among the stars of the digital kids’ market (next to Disney, Cartoon Network, Mattel and many more), and The Great Apps selected one of our first games as one of the most played creativity games for Android this year (next to SimCity, Barbie and Hello Kitty). It was not just a simple summer team building event. If you ever wandered to our team section, you might have read that our team has been creating games for kids since 2008. On September 3rd that year, Mantas Radvila and Mantas Kavaliauskas cofounded their first gaming company. It was one of the first educational game development studios in Lithuania, which 6 years later evolved into TutoTOONS. We kept the tradition to celebrate company’s birthday on September 3rd. This year, we decided to have the birthday earlier (for the better weather) and treated ourselves with a super fun kayak trip to celebrate 8 years in the gaming industry!

In 2.5 years and with no funding, we reached 100 million game downloads! Thank you everyone who celebrates with us, works with us, supports our startup and helps us spread the great news. Our special thanks goes to Robin Wauters from Tech.eu and Sindre Hopland from Barcinno for writing awesome articles about TutoTOONS!

We started TutoTOONS Artist Exchange between Lithuania and Spain to learn, explore, get inspired and advance! The first one to go to sunny Barcelona and share her game creation knowledge was Brigita, Lead Artist at TutoTOONS Kaunas and creator of TutoTOONS best-selling games Jungle Animal Hair Salon, Animal Hair Salon, Sweet Baby Girl Summer Fun and many more. :) Meet the team! Based at ISM Innobase, TutoTOONS Vilnius office has been operating for over a month now with a new team of super talented artists, ready to bring even more fun for kids!
