Watch more in the video! TutoTOONS: Hi Daria! Tell us a little about yourself. Daria: Hi! I’m a graphic designer from Russia. My specialty is an economist but I always dreamed to be an artist. The fact that I am working with kids’ industry makes me very happy and I hope makes my players happy too. :) What about your game development experience, did you have some before TutoTOONS? I’ve never had any game developing experience before but I’ve been working in children industry for about 8 years so it makes the process a bit easier. Now tell us about your games. How do you come up with game ideas? What inspires you? Well, as for the first Doll House game, it was a freelancer contract, so the game idea wasn’t mine. But it was a great experience and I’m very thankful to TutoTOONS for this opportunity. This world of kids games that I discovered with TutoTOONS is really amazing and fun! Doll House Cleanup is a cleaning game for the littlest girls created in a cute and bright way to bring fun time for the little players. Now we are finishing a new Doll House version and this time I chose the game topics myself, with a big support from the TutoTOONS team. What I can say about game ideas - the first and the most important thing you have to do is to clearly understand what your players need the most. I get inspired by many things: successful TutoTOONS games like Sweet Baby Girl series, Disney movies, Behance artworks and many many other things. Disney inspires us too, we even have a Disney quote on the wall in our meeting room. What is the most fun part of creating games? The best part is when after rough sketches you can see the final result and suddenly your game and characters start to live their own life! That’s true! And what is the most challenging for you in game creation process? To realise what your players need and to create a cool game idea! Also, to create marketing materials that will express your game idea to the fullest. How long do you usually create one game? Do you work on your own or does someone help you with your games? It’s hard to calculate but it takes quite lot of time. I had a good support from the TutoTOONS team and sometimes I also ask advice from my family and friends. What, in your opinion, is the most important thing in game development? Idea and enjoying working! Share a few game creation tips with people who are just starting to create their first game. Learn and gain experience from other successful games and artists, stay with the things you love and can do the best but always think about what your players need. Always try to create beautiful, joyful and funny little world in your games! Nice! Are you planning to make more games with TutoTOONS? Feel free to reveal some details! Sure! I have many ideas! Probably it will be a cute and glamourous dress up game. Sounds like something our players really love. How would you describe TutoTOONS in 1 sentence? Fun and easy game platform for everyone. Any final thoughts? Just thank you! Thank you! Time to play! Help little Aria and her dog Toby clean up the doll house! Little Dinosaurs Are Here To Foster Kids Creativity

Extinct and not like any other living being, dinosaurs are the imagination engines for kids, as explained by Jack Horner, an American paleontologist and consultant for Jurassic Park films. New game “Life of My Little Dinos” by artist and teacher Oksana Ryabinina is here to help kids discover the fascinating dinosaur world! Sneak Peek at the Game Life of My Little Dinos features 10 educational mini games that show kids and toddlers the fun life of four baby dinosaurs. Children will have a chance to explore and play in different locations like forest, mountains, desert, emerald cave and river. Arcade mini games (flying, running and fishing) will develop children motor skills, and creative activities (cooking, drawing and dress up) will reveal kids artistic talents. TutoTOONS: Hi Oksana! Tell us more about yourself. Oksana: Hi, I’m a 2D artist from the sunny city of Odessa (Ukraine). I love to draw and cannot imagine my life without creativity. By education I am an artist and a teacher. Creating cognitive and educational games - for me, this is an excellent implementation of my specialty! I worked at school for 3 years, teaching fine arts. When children play, they learn and remember information much better than listening to a story. Life of My Little Dinos is a creation of your own or did you have someone to help you with the game? I worked with my husband Gregory. The concept of the game belongs to him, he developed GDD, created character animations and built the game. We also voiced our cute dinos. Recording sound effects and making voice overs by ourselves was really fun. The most difficult part of the work was taken by my husband and I was able to focus on creating beautiful graphics of the game. What made you work with TutoTOONS from the beginning? I like working with TutoTOONS. For me as an artist, it gives an opportunity to discover the full potential of the project. Development of icons and promotional products, locations and characters - such diverse tasks make me grow and develop professionally. Tell us more about your dinosaur game. The game Life of My Little Dinos is a world of fun adventures with dinosaurs. It helps kids improve their concentration and attention skills, develops logical thinking and memory, and fosters their creativity. The game has 4 main characters - little dinosaurs that need help. Kids will have to collect food and make fruit salad with juice, go fishing in the river, draw pictures with colored chalk on a rock, solve puzzles, clean up and decorate the emerald cave, create a dinosaur nest, run a marathon, fly home, and dress up dinosaurs how they like. WOW, that’s a lot of activities. How long did it take to make this game? We worked 2.5 months. As a result, we have an excellent game with 10 wonderful mini-games. It’s not the first game that you made with TutoTOONS. What was different this time? A new game, a new world of adventures and characters. I really liked creating contrasting landscapes such as the forest, mountains, and desert. Creating the game was a lot easier. Now we knew all the details about the creation process and this allowed us to focus on the quality of the game. What do you think is the most important thing in game creation? Share a few tips for game creators. First, think carefully about the plot and characters of the game - they should be attractive and interesting for the player. Next, it is necessary to choose the right style for graphics. Use a variety of bright colors. The most challenging step you had to take when you were creating Life of My Little Dinos. In game development, there are many challenges. It is worth doing a bit of a break from work, get coffee, and then they are quickly resolved. Developing the main screen takes most of the time because you have to show the diversity of the game and its atmosphere. And the difficulty, I would highlight the step of creating icons for the game. Needs a whole science! It should be as simple as possible and maximum attractive. A good icon is a 70% success of the game. If you could define TutoTOONS in one sentence… This is a great system for creating games! What are your future plans with TutoTOONS? We have many ideas for games, and my husband and I are now actively discussing them. Among them, there is an idea to continue making games with dinosaurs. We plan to create funny and good children’s games with TutoTOONS. Any final thoughts? Creating games is a fascinating and interesting work. TutoTOONS has established an excellent system, where everyone can try one’s hand at game creation. Try it and you will definitely get it! Thank you for a wonderful interview! The game features 8 different locations: Emma’s Strawberry House, Garden, Stable, Spa, Tea time, Music, Stickers and video room. First, we’d love to hear more about the creators of Sweet Little Emma. Irina: Hi! I’m Irina Maier, illustrator and graphic designer. I love illustration because I can express myself through pictures… Most of all, I like creating new character design, and drawing kawaii illustrations and cute girls. My inspiration is all the things I see around, every day. You can find my art works here. My other interests are music, fashion and Japan. Currently, I’m working as a freelancer with my husband Ronald. He is a web designer and we work together in our home office in Berlin city center. Ronald is very creative person and helps me a lot with developing game ideas and GDD, building the game and marketing it. So the whole family is behind Emma’s game, awesome! What’s the main idea of your game? My game is about a girl who lives in a beautiful dreamland. She loves nature, animals and birds. She really wants to be a Princess, without even knowing that she is a princess. A real princess, and her kingdom is her dreamland. I love this idea because I believe that every girl is a little princess. That’s a beautiful thing to teach young minds. Did the idea change over time when you were creating the game? Overall, my game idea has hardly changed. Only a couple of mini games have changed but just because of the technical reasons. The game turned out to be a little bit bigger because I added two new activities, Music and Horse. I could add more and more. :) I really like it and I’m already working on a new game with Emma. Can you spare us a few details about the next Emma’s game? Yes, of course. Currently I’m creating Sweet Little Emma Play School, entertaining and educational game. I plan to create a lot of games with TutoTOONS. Looking forward to see new Emma’s adventures. How was your overall experience with TutoTOONS? For me, TutoTOONS is just what I needed. I’m always looking for programs that are made specifically for designers and don’t require any knowledge of programming. I really want TutoTOONS to develop further and add new opportunities for the realization of game ideas. How did you first hear about TutoTOONS and how much time did it take to create this game? I saw an ad here on the internet. Since I always wanted make the games, I sent my resume. Then there was an interview on Skype and one time training where I learned a lot of useful and interesting information. Emma’s Dreamland took 3.5 months to create. Meet Olga, Creator of Princess Game Series

We’re so excited to bring you an interview with Olga Vasilevskaya, Ukrainian graphic designer and game developer behind popular game sequel about a princess with nearly 500,000 downloads! TutoTOONS: Hi Olga! Please introduce yourself. At what age did you start drawing and how did you become a game creator? Olga: Hi everyone! My name is Olga and I’ve created a series of games about a princess: Princess Castle Fun, Princess Christmas Wonderland, Princess Girls Club, and Princess Castle Cleanup. It’s a pleasure to tell a little bit more about myself, if you’re interested of course. :) I began to draw since I could sit, that is, around 6 months, and haven’t stopped ever since. When I was 4, I started to go to art school and used to draw 4-6 hours every day. Then there was a professional art school, where I studied for 4 years, and Art College M.B. Grekova (5 more years). Then I realized: enough of studies, it’s time to make money! First I worked as a graphic designer, which was a bit boring. But then I discovered game development. After working in a couple of large game companies, I found out about TutoTOONS. Tried it, felt very happy and work with this platform to this day! How did you hear about TutoTOONS? Found it on the Internet. Besides drawing and game creation, what are your other hobbies and interests? My main hobby is certainly drawing. Sometimes I make collages from magazine clippings, like this one: I also like to spend time with my daughter, hang out with friends, knit, crochet, learn Hebrew. Now thinking to start doing yoga. You’ve been working with TutoTOONS for 7 months now. How does it feel to be a game creator? I am very pleased to work with TutoTOONS, it gives me complete freedom: I can create games about what and who I want, draw game graphics in any style I want. This simply buys you! I really like what I’m doing. 7 months ago, I had no idea that I could create a game from scratch, from the idea to the finished product on App Store, Google Play and Amazon. And now it’s real! What‘s the most interesting thing for you in game creation? Most of all, I like to come up with game scenario. I also like that stage when the game is almost is ready, everything is assembled on the platform, and you’re just finishing up the details: adding sounds, animations, music… and watching how your “child” comes to life! But in general, I like the whole process and each phase of game creation. On average, how long does it take you to make one game? About a month. How often do you play games yourself? What‘s your favorite game of all time? I play games almost every day. Basically it’s apps for kids - I get them for my daughter and at the same time I can analyze the market. There are other games too. In my childhood, I used to play SUPAPLEX and Crash Bandicoot. My current favorite games are Machinarium, Badland and Lineage. Your princess game sequel has 4 successful games now. Tell our readers more about them. This is the story of a princess life. Just like all children, she plays games, eats, sleeps, has friends and cleans up. And despite the fact that she is a princess, she also has to keep the castle tidy! Of course, she has royal privileges, such as personal unicorn, horse and carriage but they also require care. This princess successfully deals with all her tasks and duties. The player helps her and she’s is very thankful for it! What game are you creating now? At first, I wanted to do a follow up for Princess Castle Cleanup but then I changed my mind and decided to make a game about LOSTY. LOSTY is a good but very confused robot who has lost his name and asks the player to help him find it. To do this, the player will need to tackle different tasks. If you make it right, you will get the name, extra coins and lots of fun! Imagine that your good friend is building a game with TutoTOONS. If you could share only one tip, what would it be? Make it as interesting as possible for the kids! Thank you Olga for sharing your story with us! Download and play her newest game - Princess Castle Cleanup!
