Kalba.Lt, an educational organisation helping kids, teens, adults and companies in Lithuania learn foreign languages, hosted Language Day Camp for Kids in Vilnius on January 5th and invited TutoTOONS to present what game creators do. In Language Day Camps kids learn English and Chinese in the morning, play, draw and socialize, and meet guests in the afternoon. TutoTOONS developer Deividas Baumilas introduced the daily tasks of game developers and game artists, and explained how to become a game creator. You have to study and work hard! It’s amazing how many questions kids asked and how many ideas they suggested for new games. Some are even learning how to code and have already created a few video games, and one kid is planning to join TutoTOONS team in the future. 😎 When we hang out with kids, games are always involved and Language Day Camp was not an exception. Boys really liked our old but still cool Car Builder 3 and girls loved Miss Preschool Math World. It was very flattering to see that kids recognise TutoTOONS owl and know our games. ☺ Many thanks to Kalba.Lt for inviting us!

Happy and proud to share that we have two young colleagues at TutoTOONS - Lauris Brāzma and Māris Mežpaps, students of Alberta spēles university in Riga, Latvia. They are doing an internship in our office and creating their own game with Unity!

It’s been two weeks since we last posted Level Up creations. Easter holidays made our artists postpone their fun drawing time to Friday, and here’s what they did just before the weekend. Five TutoTOONS artists decided to draw random things and make 1 drawing. You can try this creative game with friends, anywhere and anytime. Trust us, the more you play, the more addicting and exciting it gets! Tools: Paper and pen (or other art supplies that you want to use). Rules: Everyone takes turns and has only 10 seconds to draw something, then must pass the pen to a friend. The result may not be a masterpiece but it sure was one of the most fun Level Ups!
